CHRISTIAN BRUN Né en 1970 en Acadie, Christian Brun a œuvré pendant près d'une décennie en coopération internationale en Afrique australe et a été directeur général de l'Union des Pêcheurs des Maritimes. Ses oeuvres ont été publiées dans plusieurs anthologies et revues littéraires au Canada, au Mozambique et en Europe. Il est décédé accidentellement en décembre 2016.

ABOUT KELSEY KLIP

Kelsey Klip reigns from a long line of ancestors who have something to say. She established herself as a poet in Nelson (BC) where she was actively involved with Nelson Poetry Slam by organizing monthly events, emceeing, and performing as a slam contestant. Since stepping into her natural role she has been featured on ShawTV Okanagan's Inspired Word Cafe series, held workshops around freestyle and vocal embodiment, performed at a variety of venues between BC and Alberta, has written and self published one chapbook and is working on an EP and second chapbook. Having found her voice in the mountains of BC, she moved back to her home in Edmonton in 2017. During this time she helped establish the all-femme performance collective, Goddessa, where herself and up to 30 womxn performed at Astral Harvest Festival, The Works Festival Gala, CKUA radio's mental health awareness campaign, and hosted numerous sold out events. In that time she also hosted an open mic with Cheshire Productions called Cheshire Chats. Now, calling Moncton home since 2019, she has launched a multilingual poets society called the Petitcodiac Poets Society. Their first event was an intimate reading by Mi'kmaq poet Natasha Barlow. She also will be performing in Hub City Theatre’s rendition of the Vagina Monologues this year. Creatively orchestrating her experience, she aims to inspire people to "speak with conviction and loving intention" as a way to empower consciousness as a whole and to make life a bit more tender.

Son 7e recueil, Séjour à Belle-Côte, vient de paraître, son recueil Si longtemps déjà a obtenu le prix Éloizes en littérature en 2010 et La vie prodigieuse, le prix Antonine-Maillet Acadie-Vie en 2000.
